How it be for parents: School admin: Please keep your kids home if they're sick. Also, you get 3 parent excused absences per semester. No bereavement days for funerals, and if you are thirty seconds late, we'll send the cops after your ass. Teachers: Also, turning in your work late is an automatic 15% point deducation. IDGAF why.

The rules are there to keep things consistent, but I know real life doesn’t always fit neatly into them. I'm sure teachers are there to help parents in tough situations. I would certainly do my best to do so. Hope we can both get to the winter break smoothly!

一天內	KC 305kc02	I had students cheating on tests and assignments but would allow them to redo them (but for a B grade) bc I cared more about them learning the info than getting a certain grade. I had a late assignment policy but always worked with students in a legit situation. One kid would have to miss some mandatory things bc it was the only time she could visit her dad in jail. Life happens and we flex bc at the end of the day, the kids are human and need the same grace we’d want for ourselves.
