I can apply that same rational skepticism as you call it to the opposite belief, though. What tangible evidence can you provide to support the belief that God does not exist? You can’t.

That’s irrelevant though. Nobody has made that claim in this thread. Atheism is the null hypothesis, which is the only justifiable position when no good evidence exists. You don’t need to absolutely disprove every concept of a god, that’s not what atheism is. Atheism is the position one has when they don’t have a belief a god exists. That’s two very different things. Usually you have to prove that something exists, not the other way around. Should i ask you to prove that unicorns are not real? I bet you can't, so i hope you don't disregard its existance.
