Um let’s make America POLITE again. Out running errands in the rain. Went to a restaurant to grab some gift cards. Mind you I’m carrying a baby carrier…I go to leave & hold the door for an elderly man w/ a walker. Then TWO well dressed, able bodied men just trounce right on thru. They did not offer to take the door. Did not say thank you either. Next I go out to the parking lot. Still raining significantly. I step very obviously near the curb to show I want to cross. FOUR cars go thru (1/2)

I’m not asking for the world to bow down at my feet, but I feel like a fair amount of people have lost common courtesy. I’d never make someone stand in the rain like that with a baby or hold a door for me! Am I a Karen?! I just want people to be kind. Especially because it’s the holidays! Reminder to slow down and that it costs nothing to be nice. (2/2)

3 小時內	Debbie Rice shastagldn	Was at the Veterans Cemetery to drop off my mom’s ashes for burial. My daughter was holding the door for me when a young airman in full dress uniform just waltzed on through. You know I reported that young man. He needs to learn some manners.
4 小時內	Skippermeg skippermeggie	Courtesy, to me, is an expression of me. I hold doors, elevators and stop for pedestrians. And especially if it is raining. It doesn't matter if they're carrying a baby or elderly or able bodied. I just do it. I do it because it reflects my values. I would never call out someone who failed to say thank you. I don't do it for them, I do it for me. I wouldn't embarrass myself by making it look like I did the right thing for a thank you or for attention from strangers.

4 小時內	Audi auddors	Being a decent human has flown out the window. We went to an even where a grown man shoved my 10yr old daughter. Mamma bear came out but his wife apologized profusely. Can't even hold a door and get a thank you most days now. Humans are aweful.

5 小時內	kepi.aloha	There. are kind people and I am sorry you encountered some not nice ones. I held the door for ten people yesterday. Everyone was nice except a young Native American guy. Some have real chips on their shoulder, most are very kind young and old.
