Remembering the time I was in a class at Booth/UChicago called “user centered design for entrepreneurs” (side note: one of the most influential/amazing classes I’ve ever taken) and our instructor put a photo of someone’s desk, living room, and home into a presentation. She asked us to guess what this person’s joys, needs, pain points etc were, just based on their home and objects. The point of the exercise was to find an articulate what that person might want to buy.
