Damn, that has not been my experience 🤣 as a fellow NorCal to Colorado transplant I’ve gotten met with plenty of eye rolls, awkward pauses, or “oh, you’re one of those?” comments lmao. I usually try to avoid mentioning it.

But Bay Area folks have SoCal energy a lot of the time with the: "Back in ________, there was so many good .... and Denver doesn't compare". That kind of shit is what earns folks the eye rolls. Of course, every meal is twice as expensive and half as good. All the produce we use here was shipped from California! But it was all grown with our water so...
