Women, do you see "the pill" as a manifestation of misogyny, a form of liberation, or something else? Given how it was first tested in an illegal and immoral fashion (on women in Central America who didn't know what they were taking) As I'm doing rewrites for this misogyny book, it suddenly occurred to me that it has a rather dark history. Curious to hear others thoughts.

I do have horrible, dramatic mood swings, painful cramps, and obscenely heavy bleeding with my periods. Hormonal birth control gave me my life back. However, before I came out, having access to birth control preventing me from being stuck in a bad relationship. Sometimes men try to get/keep you pregnant to make you stay.
