small things like these - read and then go and see the film. Poignant. I loved Old God’s Time & Prophet Song, funnily both set in Dublin. Also enjoyed Witches of Vardo and The Maiden but I can’t say I’ve read a book this year that really lodges in my mind more than Claire Keegan’s books.
