Aversion to wokeness is by far, the more formidable handicap plaguing the video game industry versus the actual progressive wave that's "wokeifying" video games. I can't stand anything that's made solely to placate the demands of an ideologically driven movement, but I also feel that weird, sexually ambiguous characters are a cool, fitting archetype within certain genres, and demanding their erasure stifles the creative freedom necessary for storytellers to create interesting, authentic worlds.
