I tested my lip theory twice today. I had peanut butter and grape jam for lunch - the first pair of photos. I had tuna casserole for dinner - the second pair of photos. There are pictures I took in between each pair. I don’t know if my face got red at lunch as my makeup might be hiding it. Thoughts?

I want to help, but I’m not sure what lip theory your referring to.

I'm afraid I don't see a difference. You're cute though! (Said in a motherly, non creepy way 😆)

I have the same issue and thought it was rosacea. The ointment they prescribed does literally nothing and I find when I eat at work the food they make it happens the worst. This was just yesterday and it ended up getting way worse. Everyone was pointing out and asking if I was okay or thought I had lipstick all over my face.

Really you need to see an allergist to have skin prick testing . The try it and see method could be deadly . From the mother of a daughter anaphylactic to soy

I get the lip tingles and slightly swollen from pitted fruit and raw tomatoes but it’s very very mild for me so not something I am treated for but I do get the lip thing! It’s very uncomfortable.

It’s it tuna from a can? Histamine could be the culprit.

I left a few comments about this, but I didn’t see anyone mention MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome). I would definitely look into this! My face looked just like this before I started certain meds/diet. Happy to answer questions if you have any!

If you have a lot of inflammation in general, things that you're not necessarily allergic to can still cause a reaction. I would look into cutting out the top food allergens for women and then add things in slowly, one at a time. Work on some gut healing during this time too. Speaking from personal experience :)
