When you go in for a wedding cake or wedding photos, you kind of include your partner? These are the 2 most common situations I have heard of that people have been refused service based on sexuality. Who is trying to determine children's sexuality? I think we just want them to feel safe and normal if they are born gay, what is wrong with that?

Straight people are far more vocal about their sexuality than gay people are. Not even close.

I didn't bring up children? Also, when someone says "my partner John and I want to hire you to cater our wedding," and sign it "Tom," they can infer it's a same-sex wedding 🤦‍♀️ can you at least stay on topic?

I can assure you as someone who was a homophobe it is most certainly not a humanitarian thing and very much a religious/political thing. You're just hiding your bigotry behing veiled words

Hetero relationships are everywhere, TV, movies, holding hands in public, kissing right in front of my kids at the mall, it's disgusting, keep it private and I wouldn't care! Is that fair?

The problem with this is that it doesn't acknowledge double standards. Straight people are shown in all kinds of media dating, kissing, getting married, etc. They can hold their partner's hand without issue. However, people claim that when gay people are shown in media and real life displaying affection in the same ways, it's "shoving their sexuality down people's throats" Also why do straight couples put their babies in clothing that says stuff like "Daddy's jealous I had boobies for dinner?"

If the diners in the restaurant have children they are all flaunting their sexuality and sexual activity. If they are with their spouse it’s like a neon sign: WE HAVE SEX. HERE’S THE PROOF! If I have a t-shirt with a rainbow I’m wearing clothes. The rest about kids is a sick fantasy that conservatives seem obsessed with. How much longer do we have to suffer through your sexual preoccupations?

How many people ask seven years old girls if they have a boyfriend? How many people buy onesies for their infant sons that say “ladies man?” How many people enter/attend child beauty pageants? It’s not the LGBTQ community that’s sexualizing children.

I think if I walk in to a store holding my girlfriend’s hand they’ll figure it out.

So why don’t Christians keep their sexuality private if they feel that’s how it should be? Why do they put so much efforts into purity culture, into abstinence before marriage and numerous babies right after marriage? Why do they feel the need to constantly police others sex life?
