I’ve got a few automations on my phone for this situation, if airplane mode is turned on it will lock the screen, turn airplane mode back off and put the phone in low power mode. I also have it set so if I text it a killphrase from any number it’ll lock the screen, low power mode, bluetooth and cellular on and then reboot. Apparently rebooting makes iPhones much harder to hack 🤷🏻‍♂️

The people who are saying to put it in your pocket, I had my phone stolen from me in London by a woman who looked helpless and drunk “fall” onto me and stole it out my pocket so there really is no right or wrong way just luck or unluck

Do not use a phone strap ,especially in busy places it is like advertising your phone to thieves x

First off, sorry for all the victim blaming you're getting!! Theft is theft whether you were holing it or swinging it around your neck. It doesn't matter! It's WRONG. I don't know if this works with the iPhone case as it has that magnetic circle thing on the back (forgive my ignorance, I have a Samsung) but I have one of those ring holders so any time it's in my hand it's connected to my finger. Xx People suck so much :(

So sorry this happened to you. Was in London a couple of months ago and while my friend was looking at her phone for map directions, a person rode by on a bicycle and tried to snatch her phone. It happened so fast and in a crowded crosswalk that we didn’t have much time to react. She had a phone case by loopycases and their attempt failed as it was snug on her hand. When we got back to the States, I ordered one right away. Highly recommend these cases as the loop doesn’t come off.
