A lady was talking about how stressed she was because she couldn't remember what gifts she'd bought & hid for which kid. I commented that I lived through that & now keep a spreadsheet. I track what they want, what I've bought, cost, delivery & wrapped status, where it's hidden, etc. I also mark presents with a symbol. She said "Not everyone is anal. You're taking the magic out of the holiday!" As if the "magic" of Christmas was ever NOT the unseen labor and organization of women. 🙃🫠
