my dad once drove himself to the hospital for what turned out to be a minor heart attack; he had still been making payments from the ambulance ride from the last time his heart acted up and was too scared of the cost of another ambulance ride. my dad could have died in that car. he could have hurt someone else on the road. it was the dumbest thing my dad’s ever done. we were so mad at him. but he did it because he was terrified of further medical debt. terrified… the UHC Shooter is a hero.
