For all that are unaware, TERF stands for Trans Exclusionary Radcal Feminist

It should be TEWF, Trans Exclusionary WANNABE Feminist

It’s because trans women are men.

Theyre actually the ones who came up with it, which is why it still calls them feminist

One of the end goals of the radical feminist movement from the beginning is "not just the elimination of male privilege but of the sex distinction itself" (Shulamith Firestone, The Dialectic of Sex, 1970) so it makes sense that radical feminists would reject further entrenchment in social gender identity. That said, the movement has obviously been co-opted by transphobic bigots and other (better) feminism has progressed since the 70s.

Being a feminist does not mean supporting men pretending to be women. This absolutely makes sense.

I got called a TERF for pointing out that “chest feeding” is a ludicrous term. The hate I got for this perfectly rational comment was over the top and quite bizarre. From what I’ve seen, the trans community is as keen as anyone to exclude views that don’t align with theirs💁‍♀️

It's funny how they call themselves feminists while being ideologically aligned with the most misoginist and conservative men. Has anyone here EVER seen a terf fighting patriarchy, or even being slightly bothered by it? I haven't. All they know how to do is to hate trans people. They will often also attack cis women (usually the black ones) because they don't consider them to be "XX" enough, since they are also white supremacists.
