One of my relatives called 911 herself when she had a medical emergency while her husband stood there and said he ‘didn’t know how.’ He has a master’s degree.

The number of stories I heard of men dumping their women at old age for younger ladies are so many . I am nurse who works on geriatric floor. I used to take care of old lady in her 90’ on her death bed while her husband trying to touch me and being so inappropriate with me while his wife is dying!!!! I am 35 years old and I am already so disgusted at most men. I rarely see good men who are taking care of their wives and I see so many women take care of their husbands at the end. Men will come

In what universe are men nurturers who care for their wives? In most cases marriage extends men’s lives and shortens that of their female partner. Not to mention men overwhelming divorce or cheat on their terminal or incapacitated partner so wtf would having a man around at the end do for any woman?

Love this ♥️ being in a couple is so romanticized, but when we go to the numbers and facts the mental charge, the household duties, the child care are a heavy burden to women.
