Why do people look at me funny when I tell them that I’m 30 years old and I’m into K-pop? Lol I’ve been into K-pop since I was a preteen … my first favorite group? Was 2NE1 !!! This is nothing new for me. My mom would never let me go to any of the concerts and didn’t really support my obsession so now that I am older? I can go to the concerts and I can fan girl the way that I am meant to. kpopstan

But this is just something all generations must go through and either accept that fans are timeless or… miss out and be bitter I guess. I think all the time about how I was shocked by women in their 60s/70s screaming the dust down from the ceiling at a classic rock concert I went to in my teens. The body ages, tastes change (expand, if you’re lucky), but fans are timeless inside.
