People excited about Bottas going back to Mercedes confuses me. As a Finn there was a time I had hoped he would become the next Finnish F1 world chanpion like Keke Rosberg, Mika Hakkinen, and Kimi Raikkonen. The reality is he’s done nothing but slide down the grid over the years and now the best job he can find is to be a 35 year old RESERVE driver. To me it’s depressing, not exciting. Hopefully there is a young Finn out there working his way to be our next F1 driver to root for. F1Threads
