Doctor here. That’s not true. As of past few years and currently, Medicare must pay 100% for all vaccines recommended by the CDC. Note I said *currently*. That’s how many of my patients finally got their TdaP and Shingrix. Those are covered under the part D rx benefit not the office care benefit- so you get them at the pharmacy, not doctor’s office.

I don’t know if Medicare payed for it or my supplemental policy, but it was covered.
