I remember cooking oxtail every Sunday, while living in Jamaica. Then in 2003 I noticed the price starting to rise every week at the meat shop. I said to myself, when oxtail reaches the same prices as steak, it's back to chicken. Few weeks later...."sell me a wholea chicken deh". The trend just continued. Sigh.
