I haven’t figured out yet the exact demographic of people that had a “puke bowl” (large bowl used for kids to throw up in that is also used for normal stuff like baking and snacks.) I’m white, middle class, from Oklahoma, grew up in the 90s/early 2000s. If my sister or I was sick my parents would usually give us a trash can or an old towel (that would be thrown away if puked on.) I’d honestly never even heard of the puke bowl until a few years ago.
