Yes how is production supposed to get done if workers are never at work

Imagine 0 and work in healthcare. Our PTO is only 3 weeks a year and that is for sick leave, hurricanes, vacations etc

But they also get pto. Most places cap at 40 hrs for both and do not have them separate. My work fortunately does. Mine looks similar but I have more sick time.

I could never have thay many sick time maybe vacation but I’m going to take a day off 😂

My job combines it all as PTO. 2 weeks a year til I’ve been there 9 years 🥲 then it’s 3 weeks. My mom used to get crazy sick and vacation time, she’d be rolling over 140 hours of sick time a year and still taking 40 hours paid out at the end of December.

Most jobs I been at only give 3 days. My cute job gives 9 days paid sick

I work in healthcare and get NONE. 😂 But to be fair - nothing would get done if it was paid because we did that in the past and people took the piss calling in for hangovers and patient care would suffer.
