Dancing has become a source of healing, empowerment, expression and joy that has proved instrumental in my recovery from trauma. It grounds me in my body and to the natural forces of the earth. It connects me to my emotions, and to my surroundings. It fills me with endorphins and has improved my strength and balance. It's the only exercise I can do regularly because it fills me with so much happiness. I can't recommend it enough. It's pure medicine!
