So many people centring themselves and not the person bringing a baby into the world. I keep hearing horror stories of women giving birth with parents, in-laws, siblings, etc trying to force their way into the L&D room despite Mum saying no. Mom is the patient. She’s the one going through an intense physical and emotional event. If she says no, no matter who you are, you do not pass the doors. It’s not a hard concept and so many of those commenters insisted on misunderstanding your point.
