When I was building my first Instagram account I was OBSESSED with gaining followers, I would spiral if the number went down. I’d lay awake and worry about what I did wrong and how I was going to “gain them back” The thing is, if someone unfollows you, they were never meant “for you” They’ve actually done you a favour The algorithm rewards engagement Someone that unfollows was never going to engage so they were kinda holding you back
