My MIL is the queen of stupid excuses when it comes to not showing up. On Wednesday we had my son’s winter concert, which she has known about for weeks and has been reminded of several times. Well she didn’t show up. Yesterday I found out she didn’t even bother to come up with an excuse. She just didn’t answer the phone on Wednesday when my husband called to remind her (again). And she hasn’t called him back.
