I get home to my family only thinking about how grateful I was to get to travel and land safety. So when I start to unpack, I realize my Kobo isn’t with me. Immediately in my mind I could see it where I left it — tucked in the pocket of the seat 🤦🏽‍♀️ A friend of mine told me I can probably submit a lost & found report for it but she’s lost a Kobo like that before & never got it back. My spirits were low but I submitted one anyways.

Finally at the beginning of the third week I get an email that says “sorry we did not find a match for your lost item”. I knew it was coming but I still held out hoped. Well, I decided I needed to move on even though inside I was beating myself up and really upset at myself.
