What I've learned about this gen failing: Let's say you have a PS5 game that runs at 35% of it's graphical capacity at 1080 30fps. To go for 60fps, just double that (70%). Now, instead of 60fps, let's go for 4k 30fps (the stupid standard nowadays). You'd need 4X TIMES THAT, so 35 x 4, which would be 140%. THEN, we require 60fps, that would be almost 300%. THEN, you have the game engines offer bad optimzation from the box (aka new tech), hence you needing 4090s to run ps3 looking games. continues
