I go to a drive thru coffee shop. They use a hand held credit card scanner before handing me my coffee. After I insert my card, the worker always say "It is going to ask you for a tip." I am always tempted to say "So, you want paid extra to hand me my overpriced coffee after I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru." If I have to wait in line at a drive thru, no tip is ever involved. And, if I am asked for a tip, it is a hard pass.
