This generation of Black young people is going to understand why affirmative action was needed. White people don’t want to hire us and unless there is some sort of consequence, they’ll avoid doing it and talk about “fit”.

What are the names of these companies? Stop with the there are these companies videos that don't hire Black people. McDonald's is not hiring Black people? Stop making videos and not naming the companies you apply to, which won't hire you.

The universities should have partnership for internships. If you are unable to find one..The Dean should be able to connect with company or direct connect..

One thing, even if affirmative action was ended, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 still exists and still makes it illegal to discriminate on the basis of protected classes such as race etc. So if you feel a company is being discriminatory, report it with the EEOC. Applicants have the right to go to the EEOC as well. Don’t just go to social media about it. Go through the proper channels to report it and have it investigated. Social can only do so much we need to really get them where it counts.

They would have you believe none of us are qualified. We’ve always been qualified. DEI forced them to actively recruit us. Now without it they can revert back to the original policy of discrimination.
