i truly just want to help while typing this: all emotions are valid, even the thought of "having a pity party" / "being a drama queen". my experience with insomnia: i fell asleep at 1:30am last night and woke up at 5:46am in the morning; what i have learned (from the insomnia module of a mindfulness app) is that worrying "argh, i'm gonna be so tired the next day now that i couldn't sleep!!" never helps. the module taught me to have a non judgmental mentality and be curious--
