In my last thread, some commenters pointed out that donating the acrylic/polyester items I no longer wear just passes the microplastic problem to someone else. I agree, but it seemed better to me to give the items a chance at life outside my closet, where they weren’t getting worn anymore. I’m interested in hearing your solutions. What should I be doing with the items if I no longer wear them? I live in a rural area, so a Buy Nothing group is unlikely to be a good fit for my situation.
