I went to a store the other day after my son’s dentist appt and I was overwhelmed since he’s a toddler and checking out is always difficult. I told the lady I forgot my card was locked and she straight up made me move to another register and re-ring. I had it unlocked in less than 30 seconds 🥲

I cringe so hard when any of the people at my job say “your card declined” instead of “that didn’t go through, did you want to try again?” because not everyone wants the entire building to know their card got declined 🤣

When I worked in a hostel, I could see the reason why the payment isn’t going through, which was so convenient! It would say “card provider is not approving this” or “has reached the limit” “card reader is offline” etc so we could figure how to fix the issue easily and quickly!!
