I cannot stress this enough. That is NOT HOW TARIFFS WORK 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 The IMPORTER pays for a tariff. They pay the tariff at customs when they receive the product. Then they increase the price of the product in order to cover the price of the tariff. The people who end up paying for the tariff are the consumers of the product.
