I'm no Robbie Williams fan, but Better Man was excellent. Much darker, clever and far more inventive than I expected , and the VFX are incredibly well done. They use it to their advantage too, achieving a level of visual metaphor that you just couldn't do without going all in like this. And I never once thought about the logic of it, from the very first frame to the last, you see a relatable, familiar character. And the way it portrays a lifelong battle with depression is really quite moving.
