We are discussing a very important concept in painting – “Shape” Different painting systems have different perspectives on form. For instance, in the Russian system, form leans more toward the shaping of “form,” while in the European system, it is closer to the construction of “lines.” Shape is a concept; it does not truly exist in nature.
