Bc its so dismissive of diasporic communities having made their own foods here and having their own communities in America? Bc its just incorrect and denies the absolute flavor of Black American cuisine? Southern cooking in general?

Someone in Asia (they are from that Asian country) literally asked me if all I ate were burgers and fries. I was taken aback.
