I have posted before how wrong it is to not allow boys to show their feelings, this post from a Facebook group shows how endemic this is. We have to change this response, or we are creating another generation of men who will struggle to find the love they need because they are taught to repress their emotions, and have had hurt and bullying normalised as banter. Causing pain to others is not fun and is not ok, but tears and hugs are - my boy will get all the hugs he ever needs or wants.
