If you want to be a performing musician, just go out and play shows. Practice in your room all you want, but there is truly no replacement for learning on stage.
You’ll learn how to talk to crowds (or lack thereof), the songs that work and those that don’t, how to interact with venue staff, how to set yourself up for the best live sound, etc.
You can be an incredibly talented, technical player. But if you don’t go out and get beaten up a bit by the road, you’ll miss out. Good luck out there.
