Beginnings and endings are some of the scariest things in life. In the bible, Jesus says, "I am the alpha and omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end" (Revelation 22:13). Not entirely sure of the full context and meaning of this, but I do find comfort knowing that my good, caring Father is fully intertwined in these moments.
