Every Hollywood movie family has two kids, a 16 yr old and a one who's like, 7. This is purely for dramatic purposes and doesn't reflect real life at all and yet no one is talking about this when they talk about representation. I've never in my life met someone who's like oh yea I have one sibling that's 8-12 years older or younger than me. Who are these families.

No one ever needs to be transferred from school to after school programs. Parents have days off at home where the kids are magically absent

So we focused on working hard and buying a house before trying again. Then it took over a year to conceive. Life just gets in the way sometimes.
