Well, I haven't found French that intuitive. Many Faux Amies and the genders need to be memorized. But I never studied French. I came here, and I knew zero. It was Covid, and everything closed. I was focused on doing my paperwork and getting into the health system, so all the French I had to read and assimilate was not for beginners. Getting into their system is VERY complex. I think learning a language is also about the personal experience.
