I see what you’re saying but honestly it’s the same thing as people posting their vacations, flights, weddings, baby showers, birthdays, gym progress, kids sports accomplishments etc. I mean the list goes on. everyone on social media is “showing off” in one way or another.

Is it just toward Christmas? Do you feel that way when someone is posting pictures of their vacation? Or a brand new car. Getting a new job? Got a pay raise? Maybe they aren’t trying to do others but are applauding themselves for being able to make it happen. That’s perfectly ok.
