Lost 8 followers for posting Shakespeare (I assume— since that Hamlet scene is my most recent). If anyone else hates the Bard, please know I’m a Shakespeare nerd and will never stop posting and reposting anything I deem exceptional and poignant. You can’t stop me. He complained about the “fancy” language and “why do we have read something so old?” I was like, you don’t understand - Shakespeare was for everyone. He was the viral content creator of his time. Just creating slang and expecting people to get it through context - and they DID because we still use those phrases today. If he were alive today, all the best memes would be created by Shakespeare
