Try to find middle ground. For example I'm irish and like the vast majority of irish people we support the that Israel is a legitimate country with the right to exist and defend itself and is surrounded by an extremely hostile environment. We also share that both Ireland and Israel gained independence through terrorism (because it was sucessful its rebranded as freedom fighting). Yet Ireland firmly believes what's happening in Gaza is genocide & mass murder. Maybe just talk sports 😉

Refrain from talking about it. Surely a mature, intelligent adult can find other topics of discussion

Be happy, pulling out these bangers and having a good one with everyone, because i don’t have to deal stupid conversations with poeple who need advice to „Navigate“ a christmas celebration because of that. If you feel the need to start a conversation about how your take about this is definitely not antisemitic but anti-Zionist. I would happily Show you the door, maybe Call an Uber for you and ask you to Never be my guest again until you educated yourself in science books outside the Internet

How do you support savages that put innocent babies in ovens? Slaughtering fathers in front of children and visa versa? Murdering concert goers minding their own business? How do you support evil?

Appreciate the opportunity to engage with people outside your echo chamber, take it as a chance to try to understand different points of view. You might learn something from them, they might learn something from you. We all have such different baseline understandings of the situation depending on our backgrounds, you don't have to agree with them but it might be worthwhile trying to understand where they are coming from. Or just make small talk about the weather, kids, Christmas movies, whatever

Just start off the conversation with Bibi Netanyahu’s book where he talks about having a part to play in 9/11! It’s a great conversation starter!

Rejoice that you have family members on the right side of history and can teach you a thing or two , so pour yourself a glass of tipple and get comfy and listen and learn from the wise relatives !

What do you mean, sounds like you have a pretty sensible extended family who have probably read the scriptures.
