1/ 2 I am so sorry you are going through this. I went through something similar. My 1st husband was a serial cheater. And felt as if he could abuse the money my mom left me when she died suddenly (I am convinced that's why we stayed married as long as we did). The judge ordered him to pay me back $10K that I let him borrow for a down payment for a truck as he did not pay the 1st penny. AND to pay off the car that I was driving.

2/2 on a random Thursday He called wanting me to send him a power of attorney immediately so he could sell the truck the next day. As it was late in the afternoon I didn't have time to do this especially since he wanted a blanket power of attorney and I was not comfortable doing this. I told him I would get him a limited POA to cover just the sale of the truck. That wasn't good enough so what does Mr smarty pants do? He has the truck repo'ed. Because he didn't get what he wanted.

3/2. (Sorry!). A couple months later, unknown to me, he stops making payments on my car. So I go out to my car for work and my car is gone. Took about an hour to figure what he did. So in the span of 3 months he had 2 cars with both our names repo'ed and to this day has not paid one dime of 10K. Not to mention, he refused to be a father and asked me not to go after child support if he stayed out of our child's life. WTF? He never called him by name just "the child".
