Capitalism is inherently oppressive and you don't need to read any literature or watch experts explain it to you, you just need to listen to what capitalists have to say, but listen to them very carefully. They say anyone can make it in capitalism, but they don't say *everyone* can make it in capitalism. For every successful story you need to have a hundred failed ones. Not everyone can be a boss in capitalism. Most of us have to be workers.
