It’s become a bit of a tradition to paint my window at Christmas. I couldn’t decide between gonks(my daughter loves them!) or a Mari Lwyd (a tradition in my part of Wales where people make a hobby horse out of a skull, take it to the neighbours and sing to be let in, they refuse in song and do this back and forth for a while, then be allowed in for a drink), so I decided I’d combine the two! My DNA ancestry kit puts me at 70% Welsh and 30% Scandinavian, so it’s also apt in that way
