My mom and I graduated from two different colleges—her from Hampton University and me from Virginia Wesleyan University. Although she walks in May, I couldn’t leave Virginia without capturing a photo of our greatest accomplishment. From earning her GED at 47 to now receiving her bachelor’s degree at 60, my mom is my superhero. I’m so proud of you! ❤️🫶🏽
