This is not a whining post. As an oversized, undergroomed weirdo trauma survivor with little to no career to speak of and very little social capital, the dating pool wasn't overly large even before I started deconstructing my own prejudice and preconceptions of relationship structures, gender roles and emotional availability. And yet.. I'm now more confident and comfortable in my own skin than I have any right to be. Turns out, healing helps, in more ways than one.
