One of the best Asian dishes we’ve tried so far in New Zealand is at @faithhopelovecafe here in Napier. On a rainy day, we were craving a hot soup, and their laksa delivered just the right comfort with its warm, creamy, and umami flavors. I also ordered the beef rendang, which featured tender, flavorful beef infused with authentic Malay spices that tantalize the taste buds. We rounded off the meal with Teh Tarik, a creamy and delicious drink that strikes the perfect balance, not overly sweet.
